The popular spring competition is returning for the fourth year. FC Sixes is a six-a-side football competition played on a smaller field with smaller goals, ensuring players get more touches of the ball and a lot more action. The competition will consist of ten rounds, with matches played on weeknights, at a venue near you. Burwood FC trials for under 8's to under 12's will be taking place in early February at Blair Park. Dates are as follows (arrive 15 minutes before to check in) Under 8 and under 9 February 3 and 11 February 2026 (under 8 at 5pm and under 9 at 6:15pm) Under 10 and under 11 4 and 12 February 2026 (under 10 at 5pm and under 11 at 6:15pm) Under 12 5 and 10 February 2026 (under 12’s 6pm)

With an impressive record of 9 wins, 1 draw and no losses Coach and Manager Nick Murray is all smiles along with the team after a tough final, which was eventually won 3-1 on penalties after a 0-0 draw at full time. Well done team :-)

The Club is proud to announce that following being awarded the Football Canterbury Female Grass Roots Coach of the Year Tara O'Connell went on to be awarded the Football New South Wales Female Grass Roots Coach of the year.
